Precautions while Using this Medicine
Before using triamcinolone,
- tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to triamcinolone or any other drugs.
- if you have a nose infection or a fungal infection (other than on your
skin), do not use triamcinolone without talking to your doctor.
- tell your doctor if you have or have ever had tuberculosis (TB); liver, kidney, intestinal, or heart disease; diabetes; an under
active thyroid gland; high blood pressure; mental illness; myasthenia gravis; osteoporosis; herpes eye infection; seizures; or ulcers.
- tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregn
ant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while using triamcinolone, call your doctor.

Proper Use of This Medicine
Triamcinolone comes as a solution to inhale through the nose. It usually is inhaled one to four times a day at evenly spaced intervals. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and
ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use triamcinolone exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

br> Triamcinolone controls allergy symptoms but does not cure them. Continue to use triamcinolone even if you feel well. Do not stop using triamcinolone without talking to your doctor.

Precautions Before Using This Medicine
PregnancyˇXIn one human study, use of beclomethasone oral inhalation by pregnant women did not cause birth defects or other problems. Other studies on birth defects with beclomethasone, budesonide, de
amethasone, flunisolide, XX, mometasone or triamcinolone have not been done in humans.
In animal studies, corticosteroids taken by mouth or injection during pregnancy were shown to cause birth defe
cts. Also, too much use of corticosteroids during pregnancy, especially during the first trimester, may cause other unwanted effects in the infant, such as slower growth and reduced adrenal gland func
tion.

he stuffy nose, irritation, and discomfort of hay fever, other allergies, and other nasal problems. These medicines are also used to prevent nasal polyps from growing back after they have been removed
by surgery.
