Cheap L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine 250mg
Suport fat transport and energy production
¡PSupport delivery of fat to cells for energy production
¡P Combats fatigue and lethargy
¡PGreat addition to any weight management program
Synthesized by the liver and kidneys, L-Carnitine is required for fatty acids to be delivered into cells where the fat can be burned as a source of fuel. L-Carnitine also promotes healthy heart functioning.
For optimal weight management benefit, include L-Carnitine supplementation as part of a healthy diet and exercise program. ¡P Priced for Inventory Clearance
L-Carnitine and Fat Loss
L-Carnitine acts as a kind of escort service for fat, moving it into the little power centers of the cells (called mitochondria) so that the fat can be burned for energy. Quite simply, without optimal
amounts of L-Carnitine, there is not optimal fat burning taking place.
The main source of L-Carnitine is red meat. Vegetarians and those who eat very small amounts of red meat, are most probably not getting enough.
L-Carnitine is "the most important nutrient for naturally supporting the weight loss process," according to Robert Crayhon, author of The Carnitine Miracle. According to Crayhon, whose book is meticulously
documented with more than 60 published references, L-Carnitine is useful for weight management, fatigue, athletic performance, general energy and well-being.
Heart and Circulation Benefits of L-Carnitine
Supplemental L-Carnitine has been associated with significantly higher concentrations of pyruvate, ATP and creatine phosphate in portions of the heart muscle during conditions of extreme stress. Similarly,
in tests upon peripheral circulation, L-Carnitine was found to be quite useful for supporting normal blood flow.
L-Carnitine Research
In a study published in the medical journal Neuropsychobiology* researchers performed a crossover trial examining L-Carnitine for 48 CFS patients. Significant improvements were seen in 12 of the 18 patients
receiving L-Carnitine.
¡§L-Carnitine was found to promote statistically significant clinical improvement in 12 of 18 CFS patients. Along with helping to reduce physical fatigue, our study showed that L-Carnitine also helped
aspects related to mood as well as mental fatigue. L-Carnitine is a very safe and well-tolerated naturally occurring amino acid which improves the clinical status of CFIDS patients.¡¨ - Dr. Audrius V.

Japanese researchers are looking at the possibility that low levels of L-Carnitine are a factor in the symptoms of CFS.
Using the acteyl-carnitine form of L-Carnitine, researchers at the Osaka University Medical School compared blood levels of 38 patients with LNKS (Low Natural Killer Cell Syndrome, the Japanese term for
CFS) with 308 healthy patients. Their findings reflected that acteyl-carnitine levels are indeed lower in patients suffering from CFS.
In another study, 14 patients fitting the CDC criteria for CFS received one gram of L-Carnitine three times a day. The majority of patients showed improvement in both mental fatigue and mood, muscle soreness,
and physical stamina during their eight-week course on the supplement. Furthermore, none of the L-Carnitine patients suffered any significant adverse reactions.
L-Carnitine & CFS
Rudd Vermeulen (Amsterdam, Netherlands) had treated 150 CFS patients with oral L-carnitine 1gm bid for 6 months. 69% reported improvement in symptoms. Several other studies followed and using higher doses
was not as effective. However all groups showed significant improvement, and plasma free-carnitine levels correlated positively with improvement. Up to 52% patients relapsed at follow up after ceasing
treatment. Carnitine is used by all cells in the body, and it was mentioned that particularly high amounts are found in sperm cells. Carnitine is needed for fatty acid and carbohydrate metabolism,
and also protects vessel walls against hypoxia.
